Welcome to the Fusion Youth & Community website. Here you’ll find the story of the Fusion International movement in the United Kingdom, from its beginning in 2003 until today. From youth cafes to community festivals, parenting courses to youthwork training – Fusion YAC seeks to work with groups of thoughtful, committed people who want to together help make a difference in their local area. That’s why our motto is: "Together with Hope".

Pulse, Wheatley's new youth cafe

dsc_0498.jpgPulse, Wheatley’s weekly youth cafe was set up in October 2011, and has up to 25 young people who regularly attend and get really engaged with the activities and each other. Since its start the young people have been given the opportunity to experience a variety of ways to get creative.  A favourite was the cooking evening. Many wonderful creations came out of the cake decorating competition.  The young people also found that having squirty cream, squirty chocolate mousse and a ton of fruit on waffles wasn’t always easy to eat, but they seemed to manage it. It was great to see that afterwards a lot of the young people who participated came forward to help tidy up the kitchen.

Nepal News

nepal1.pngLast month, the team in Kathmandu took 35 young people for a Day Trip to Dolalghat, around 36 km from Kathmandu.  Most of the young people were contacted through open crowd festivals and kids’ clubs.  At the end of the day, Puspa shared his testimony with a challenge.  Dhiraj is pleased to see the team growing in their capacity and the way they work as a team.
A couple of local pastors also came along and expressed their joy at seeing a well-run event which will have a powerful effect upon the local young people.   A youth leader from another local church invited Dhiraj to share the story of Fusion Nepal at a combined youth fellowship in the near future.
